South Bay Beach
South Bay Beach in Scarborough sits just off town centre, with the historic spa at one end and a huge stretch of sandy beach all along the seafront. A working inner harbour, a convenient cliff lift, and neaby parking make this the perfect beach to visit on an excursion to Scarborough. Less than 10 miles from The Bay Filey, enjoy it during a day trip to Scarborough, the original resort town on the Yorkshire Coast.
While not a dog-friendly beach, lifeguard service, ample watersport activities, toilet access, and countless shops and cafes make it perfect for a family outing.
